Buyer backed out at the last minute because i couldn't reply instantly to confirm their question on my paynow name 20 minutes before they were meant to self-collect. If confirming a seller's paynow name before transferring is that vital to you, please do so well before the deal time, not at the eleventh hour then back out at the last minute when you don't get an instant response.
Seller clearly stated she would only leave the necklace out after I completed the transfer. Confirming her PayNow name was also my way of checking that she was online and ready to inform her sister to leave it outside once payment was made. She’s upset that I didn’t gamble my time and petrol on the off chance she changed her mind and left it there anyway, despite no confirmation or response from her.
