was suppose to make a deposit upon confirmation to avoid backing out but buyer did not want to make a deposit and said that he would not back out however, buyer decided to back out last min reason being “ too much communication”.
Everyone’s risk appetite is different. Don’t think we should encourage placing deposit on Carousell transactions. That’s how people get scammed. Not to mention seller ask to communicate outside of Carousell on Telegram. And ask to communicate with her friend, that’s where I decided to back out. Got chats to prove.
