Buyer decided not to view the item in person despite me asking her, sent a courier to collect it and after receiving it was unhappy with a dark patch on the tabletop caused by wiping it with a damp cloth prior to her collecting it. Offered her a full refund if she returned the item. She suggested I gave her a partial refund of $50 for her to keep the table as it now requires refinishing (?) or collect it at my own expense. Became very unpleasant and rude when I chose to collect it.
Interesting reply. I took the sellers word the table had no damage but it arrived horribly discoloured. I waited 24 hours for the alleged strange pattern of “damp cloth” area to dry. It is permanent and most certainly not from a damp cloth. Funny I am to blame for this? It had nothing to do with me. Simply a dishonest seller. Waste of time and money. Terrible experience.
