As an adult beginner on the violin, I find Shaojun is a very good teacher. He is flexible, sharp to identify areas of improvement, and understands that I am different from young students. As a luthier and a shop owner, his expertise goes beyond just playing the instrument well, and that is really great to have in a teacher.
