Gary is just a wonderful person! His lessons were engaging, he started 10 mins early and didn't mind going 10 mins beyond lesson time, even though he saw his phone and realised it was time. Very informative and productive lesson indeed. Definitely can see that he does this for his passion and not for the money. Can't wait to have more lessons with him soon!

Gary is a god sent teacher! Very knowledgeable & patient in teaching. Best part is he's able to accommodate my schedule to come to my place so my kids still can run around while I have my lesson! I'm very happy to have found a teacher who can teach privately at home. I wanted to learn one song, & in one lesson he taught me the proper strumming so I could play that song at leisure! Love it! Gary was such a patient teacher, and gave me plenty of good tips on how to play the ukelele properly. A session with him is much better than the YouTube videos I have seen online, as he will be able to effectively correct your posture, fingering and technique on the spot. Learnt a lot about the Ukelele in his session. I've tried learning on my own but his coaching method made everything seem so much easier. I was able to know the basic chords and strum simple songs like Twinkle Twinkle and something more difficult like Jason Mraz "I'm yours" (of cos more practice required on my part) Gary was very encouraging and patient throughout the session. He made sure that the basics are done properly. Friendly and good chap. Highly recommended

I just had a great learning ukekele experience which exceeds my expectation. He taught without reservations, teaching all the basics from fret to chords, to strumming patterns and picking. He also makes effort to find the notes for the song I would like to learn and the session lasts pass the agreed hour. I highly recommend him to be any beginner's first teacher.
