The buyer showed his or her intention at the informative session but held back when it came to making a 30% deposit. It does not make sense when you are asking for a reservation without paying a deposit.

I rather not be scammed thanks. You only mention the 30% deposit after making the arrangements to meet the next day. As the buyer, I have every right not to go through with the exchange after you changed the terms of the trade. In all my years on carousell no seller has asked me for a deposit for an in person trade. It's very suspicious and you gave me a bad review after I explained why I didn't feel comfortable making the trade.
