Seller accepted offer and agreed for weekend pickup but didn’t honour. Item was sold to another buyer but accepted as sold to me in Carousell. Should at least have the courtesy to inform. Not recommended.

Follow-up review

Seller did not request for deposit but yet agreed for me to pick up item over the weekend. Texted her on the weekend to pick up item but she said item was already sold. Worst part, it was “sold to me” (reason I’m able to comment). Seller did not have the courtesy to decline offer and inform prior to selling item to another buyer. I deposit required to book, just inform me and I’ll pay. SIMPLE

Not my 1st rodeo with buyers asking to self pick up only to go missing & quiet after. Had hundreds of buyers claiming will buy this & that out of carousels platform. Serious buyer whos keen will reassure seller nt to sell it to othr buyers & will offer deposit to ensure item is booked. My guess was youre not. Worst part is, item sold to ‘you’ is not set by me but carousell itself, as there wasn’t an option to click that i sold it to someone else. I just wanna set my listing to ‘sold’. 🤷🏻‍♀️ oh well
