The seller was able to customise a table to our required measurements, and the product itself was of decent quality. Unfortunately other things surrounding the transaction were problematic. Firstly, although Caroupay was offered for higher buyer protection, the transaction was marked as completed before I received my item. This also meant that I was unable to leave a review without contacting Carousell support. Secondly and more importantly, the seller explained that the cost included delivery and installation, so I asked if they could help me disassemble the table that this new one would replace. They asked me to send a photo of it and agreed to try on-site. However, when their staff arrived, he had not been informed, so he did not bring the required tools. He called his superior to enquire about the arrangement and was told that he didn't need to bother. This left us stranded, unable to have the new table installed in the right spot, and we had to rearrange our whole day's schedule to disassemble the table while taking care of children so that our kitchen could be in working order again by the next meal. When I approached the seller on Carousell chat to ask if it was a misunderstanding and trying to get an explanation, the seller said they had only told me they would "try" and there was no guarantee (even though in reality their assembly staff was not even informed and had no tools on him as a result). They then stopped replying my messages altogether. I have yet to hear back from them. Unfortunately misleading communication and not following through on promised arrangement. Furthermore, the seller had said at purchase that they would inform me once my order had arrived. In reality it was the other way around, where I sent a message to enquire, expecting that I hadn't heard from them because it hadn't arrived, but they replied wanting to deliver the product the next day. In other words, the product had already arrived, but they had not thought to contact me as promised, only remembering my order when I initiated contact again.
