Buyer made an offer and mentioned he is making it on behalf and proxy for his "dad" and requested that his "dad" and I coordinate separately. Requested last min change of venue, and then I didnt hear from his "dad". Buyer mentioned his dad is not good with tech hence he's proxying... but then why is his dad buying a tech pc part? This deal started to smell fishy/weird and deal was called off...
My dad isn't familiar with Carousell, so I arranged the meet up on his behalf. He travelled over and was awaiting more info to enter seller's condo but seller didn't reply him. I figured there was miscom btw them so I offered to cancel the deal. Seller agreed, and I thought case closed. Only realised 2 weeks later seller left a bad review along with an accusation that my dad wasn't actually my dad. Can't help seller's trust issues, but I think my other 5 star reviews speak for themselves.
