IMHO, this speaker is better than the Evo 4.2. It has a transparent and natural midrange (you'll love this if vocals is your thang) and treble that is crisp, coupled with bass that is punchy when you need it. It also has an awesome 3D imaging. Unless you have a big hall of 10M by 6M with room treatment)--the 4.2 bass is overwhelming. The 4.1 is just right for normal HDB hall!
