Newcomer, Unimatic, from Milan has provided an alternative to that question with style and at a price point much friendlier to watch collectors without compromising on quality. I've enjoyed wearing this watch, as you can see from the pics it's a strap monster. But as my collection has grown it's not getting as much wrist fine as it once did so it's looking for a new wrist to call home.

Letting go of my Hodinkee Friends and Family edition watch. 150 pieces were made and was only sold to employees of Hodinkee in 2024. It wasn’t a public release so it is truly and iykyk Unimatic model. There are no dings and dents on the watch but do note that there are scratches on the case-back.
