Polite and sincere buyer who kept the appointment as agreed.

I've accepted same day offer for $8 for a brand new $10 post (item worth $50) because he was willing to meet at my place, ~5pm said will meet after dinner (when?); 7pm+ still seemed keen arranged to meet 930pm. Ive been waiting all day, turns out deal is off by 820pm. Basically a time waster. I understand you can change your mind but at least inform me of being unsure than make me hang by all day.
