Description

One of the more underrated integrated-bracelet sports watches from a true manufacture, the Chopard Alpine Eagle is the modern reinterpretation of the St. Moritz, the watch first created by Karl-Friedrich Scheufele in 1980. The 41mm case and integrated bracelet are executed in Chopard’s proprietary Lucent Steel, with a distinctive mix of brushed and polished surfaces. The dial, inspired by the iris of an eagle, is arguably the signature of the Alpine Eagle and gives the watch considerably more depth in person than photographs suggest. Inside sits Chopard’s manufacture 01.01-C automatic calibre, entirely developed, produced and assembled in-house. It is COSC-certified, runs at 4Hz and offers approximately 60 hours of power reserve.
