Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40 Manual

Offering my 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40 for sale. This is a personal vehicle that has undergone considerable restoration and sorting, with the intention of keeping the character and simplicity of the original 40 Series while making it a classic that can actually be driven and enjoyed. Finished in light blue with a contrasting white roof and brown interior, it has the traditional look and presence that made the 40 Series such an iconic Land Cruiser. I am not in a rush to sell, but I am genuinely prepared to let it go to the right enthusiast or collector. Vehicle * 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40 * 3.0L diesel * Singapore Classic Vehicle Scheme * Light blue exterior * White roof * Brown interior * Full-size rear-mounted spare Restoration & work completed A significant amount of work has gone into bringing the vehicle to its current condition, including: * Engine rebuilt * Old Man Emu suspension * 35” BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres * Refreshed exhaust system * New windscreen * New headlights * New signal lights * Hazard light system * New wiper motors * New wiper arms and blades * New door locks and ignition * Interior carpeting * Rear seat belts * 3M heat insulation * Refreshed interior trim * Classic-style steel wheels with chrome hubcaps The BJ40 presents very well and, more importantly, has been restored as a usable classic rather than purely a display vehicle. Anyone who has owned or restored a 40 Series will understand that the purchase price of an old Land Cruiser is only the beginning. Considerable time, sourcing and workshop effort have gone into getting this vehicle to where it is today. I am happy to discuss the restoration and work carried out in more detail with genuinely interested buyers. This is not an urgent sale, and I am equally happy to continue keeping and enjoying the vehicle if the right buyer does not come along. Genuine Land Cruiser enthusiasts and collectors preferred. Viewing by appointment. Reasonable discussion after viewing for a serious buyer.
