Watch face protected with scratch proof film. Not as heavy as 226570, that’s y I bought this model as I hav smaller wrist. From Local AD Cortina Singapore, locally bought so not a stolen piece frm anywhere oversea. Not oversea AD. Hence nothing is tempered. Kept in safe all the time. A Collector’s piece. Totally Unpolished. The Original circumference brushing lines on bezel unique to Explorer polar all strikingly distinct. all edges very sharp n extremely black numbers on bezel, never scratched off by excessive polishing, like brand new from AD. Bracelet links are all very firm. NO stretch at all. Very Rare in such great condition, U won’t find another piece with condition like mine. NOT a 1990s model. NOT those heavily polished due to badly dented, scratched up bezel/case/bracelet. NOT over polished until glossy kinda bezel with polished off numbers. Bezel is iconic for Explorer, once bezel badly scratched/over polished/scrapped numbers , impossible to restore, must buy new bezel replacement. NOT edge rounded n scratched watch case, Not flimsy n sagging bracelet that needs replacement due to damaged sagging links. Not those with missing links n other items. So pls Don’t compare my price and quality with those. Pls view all others first before mine to truly appreciate its value. FYI To buy a brand new bezel from RSC cost about $3000, subjected availability for this model 216570. With such condition, it’s Much much easier to resell it at good price later.
