Firstly, it's NOT wise to judge the authenticity of a vintage tube just by etched codes, because they are 60-80 yrs old, they have mostly rubbed off. It's more reliable to authenticate by Getter Shape, Plate Shape & Colour, Top Seams, Mica Spacing etc. This is a Mullard made ECC83 for EICO--an American electronic company (1945 to 1970s).
