This 17 YO was discontinued in 2015 and the eponymous red box is the most eye catching element of this Glengoyne release, the famous and plain old label on the bottle inside a close second. The 17 year old malt itself is also a thing of beauty, a sweet and oaky 43% dram with a peaty texture and long spicy finish.  The green tubes are older packaging towards the 1990s.
