Up for sale is a 1978 Gibson SG that I acquired in a trade about 10 years ago. The guitar has been professionally refinished in Cherry Red in Malaysia. It has had a neck repair, and the serial number is no longer visible due to the refinish. Based on the fainted 8 number, it is a 1978 Gibson SG. The original electronics and pickups are still intact, delivering the huge, warm vintage Gibson tone these late-’70s SGs are known for.
