This is a very stable and widely used router. I've already flashed it with the OpenWrt system (and configured the LAN1 port as a second WAN port, supporting dual-WAN access). Linksys supports dual-boot functionality, so if you don't like OpenWrt, you can easily switch back to the official Linksys firmware by following the publicly available documentation.
