Description

Sansui AU-5500 Specifications General • Type: Solid-state integrated amplifier • Manufactured: Around 1975 • Country of origin: Japan Power Output • Continuous Power Output: • 30 watts per channel @ 8 ohms (both channels driven, 20Hz – 20kHz) • 35 watts per channel @ 4 ohms • Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): Less than 0.3% at rated output Amplifier unit is fully recapped and restored. In Very good functionality and very good cosmetics condition. - All capacitor replaced with genuine Nichicon - replaced with Audio grade nichicon caps in signal path. - Replaced with Nippon- Chemicon filter caps - replaced with genuine Omron relay - DC offset and biasing adjusted as per specs. - All PCB boards cleaned with IPA - Re-soldered all components and contact joints - All pots and controls cleaned with IPA and contact cleaner - All panels are re-painted and restored. Note: Sound testing cannot be done as I’m staying with the house owner. Visitors are strictly not allowed. Otherwise I can send the video upon request.h
