Royal Navy ships posters HMS Boxer. ( Frigate) HMS Exeter ( Destroyer) History D89 HMS Exeter was a Type 42 destroyer, the fifth ship of the Royal Navy to be named Exeter, after the city of Exeter in Devon. The vessel fought in the Falklands War and the first Gulf War, she was scrapped in 2009. F92 HMS Boxer was the first of the Batch 2 Type 22 frigates of the Royal Navy. She was decommissioned on 4 August 1999 and expended as a target in August 2004. Her nickname was The Billy B or Pinocchio, due to her extended bows. She was one of only two Batch 2s (the other being Beaver) fitted with the lower-height hangar of the batch 1s, so she could only accommodate Lynx helicopters. On coming out of refit in 1990, with a clean bottom she achieved close to 34 knots. Description: Posters 42 cm x 30 cm Condition : Very good 8/10. A few pin holes on the four corner as the picture were tacked for display.
