Description

For tube amplifiers and preamplifiers. This is the "GT" first generation of the tubular tubes of 6sn7. Old construction, and therefore old sound. The classic tubey sound that people loved (70s). Treble is clean and extended without harshness, offering clarity in upper harmonics. I would say it is "expressive" but not sibilant. Midrange is well-balanced—neither too forward nor recessed—ideal for vocal presence. Often praised for its neutrality and smooth throughout the mids. Key word "neutral" Bass is tight and controlled, with good definition and speed. Not as deep as Ken-Rad, but more focused and articulate than Bugle Boy. In short "good bass" very palpable. Price 1 = $79 2 = $75 each 3 = $72 each 4 = $69 each

I am a tube noob so v lucky to meet Wee here. He is super knowledgeable on the sound signature of tubes. Even more impressed that he does not just sell you any old tubes but he has the professional equipment to test the state of tubes and match them for you. He won't be selling you tubes that are about to die for sure. Finally, they all come very well packaged and arrives quick!
